Norwich Anaesthesia Update 2025

This year's Norwich Anaesthesia Update will be held at the John Innes Conference Centre.

Directions to the John Innes Conference Centre

PARKING

PARKING IS VIA THE HETHERSETT LANE ENTRANCE ONLY!
* For Satnav please input ‘Norwich – Hethersett Lane’ *

Event Parking = NR4 7UG

Parking will be available to all delegates on site via the turning to "Norwich Research Park Zone 2" off Hethersett Lane (Steve Visscher Way).

All conference attendees MUST park on the grassed “Event Parking” area, or the tarmacked area next to the grass, which is shown on the attached map. Access to this area is via the Hethersett Lane entrance, also shown on the map. There will be Marshals on hand to direct you. If you arrive late to the conference and the Marshals have left site then please copy other conference attendees to find a space on the same grassed area.

You must not attempt to park in the main or visitors car park. This area is warden-controlled and if you do park there then you will receive a fine. The John Innes Conference Centre and conference organisers will accept no responsibility if visitors incur a fine for parking there!

By Car

From the A47

Take the A47 Southern Bypass towards Norwich (East) until the B1108 Junction
At the junction with B1108 branch left (signposted Norwich) and at the roundabout take 1st exit signposted Norwich, University
Turn right at the traffic lights - Norwich Research Park
Take the first left for parking - follow directions from the marshals
The conference is a short walk from the car park.

From the A11

Stay on A11 until you reach the Thickthorn Services roundabout
At roundabout take 2nd exit A47 (signposted Swaffham)
At the junction with B1108 branch left (signposted Norwich) and at the roundabout take 3rd exit B1108
At next roundabout take 1st exit, signposted Norwich, University
Turn right at the traffic lights - Norwich Research Park
Take the first left for parking - follow directions from the marshalls
The conference centre is a short walk from the car park

By Bus

Local bus providers include First Norfolk and Suffolk, and KonectBus.

For up to date information about bus numbers and timetables, please visit their websites, and look for buses to the University of East Anglia (UEA), or the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH). Both the UEA and NNUH are a 5-10 minute walk from the John Innes Centre
