Abstract guide

• Open to all Anaesthetic trainees/trainees with Anaesthetic interest.
• Anaesthesia, Critical Care, Pain or PHEM projects accepted.
• Top three abstracts will be selected for oral presentation.
• Remaining selected abstracts will be invited for poster presentation.
• Maximum word count: 400 words including titles/subheadings. References and one figure or table not included.
• QIP (e.g. completed audit loop) Research, case series or case presentations accepted.
• Only one main author can submit and present (you must be registered for the conference)
• Case presentations require patient consent
• Please provide name, grade, place of work and email address of main author
• Abstract to be submitted as a Word Document by e-mail to: norwichanaesthesiaupdate@nnuh.nhs.uk
• Abstract closing date: Friday 5th December, 2026
